About InsPicker
InsPicker publishes free calculators for mortgages, debt, savings, retirement, and insurance decisions. Every tool shows the formula it uses, states the assumptions behind it, and lists what it does not model. If you cannot check the work, you should not trust the number.

How the calculators are built
The math lives in a single reviewed module and is checked against known-good published figures before release. A $300,000 mortgage at 6.5% over 30 years must return a payment of $1,896.20, and the test suite fails the build if it does not. Where a calculation involves a judgment call — how to value an income stream, whether to count an employer’s contribution — the choice is documented on the page rather than buried.
Nothing you type into a calculator is transmitted, logged, or stored. The arithmetic runs entirely in your browser.
How the site makes money
Display advertising. Ads are labeled, and they do not influence which tools get built or what the calculators conclude. If that ever changes — an affiliate relationship, a sponsored placement — it will be disclosed on the page it affects.
What this site is not
It is not financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional who knows your full situation. These tools produce estimates from the numbers you enter. They cannot see your tax position, your job security, your health, or the fine print of the specific product you are being sold. Use them to understand the shape of a decision, then verify before you act.
